Eighth edition postponed to spring 2021

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the organizers have decided to postpone the next Miss Progress International finals. Unanimous support from the National Directors.

TARANTO – The eighth edition of Miss Progress International, initially scheduled for next October, has been postponed to spring 2021.
The newsletter sent in recent days to the National Directors of all the five continents has been received with enthusiasm and will allow everyone to reorganize themselves at their best as soon as things return to normal.

“We are sure that the situation will soon be manageable again – says Giusy Nobile, president of the cultural association In Progress – but we also had to consider the need to recover the time and finances lost following this forced pause”.

Giuseppe Borrillo, director of the competition, adds: “Show-business, tourism and cultural events are undoubtedly the sectors most affected, at all latitudes, by the global crisis caused by the Covid-19 pandemic but we are optimistic that with our event we will give our contribution to the community”.

The official dates will be announced in September but it is easy to imagine that the organizers want to welcome the Ambassadors of Progress and their companions in May, when the climate of the beautiful Puglia, that will host the event for the eighth time, is usually giving splendid sunny days and optimal temperatures.
